The Most Reverend J. Delano Ellis, II

The Most Reverend J. Delano Ellis, II is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the Pentecostal Church of Christ, in University Circle, Cleveland, Ohio. The Bishop is now recognized throughout Ohio, the United States and even beyond as one of the leading Fathers in the Holiness Pentecostal Community.

One of the outstanding characteristics of Bishop Ellis is his spirit of servanthood. His leadership has affected and challenged positive change in the church and the civic community at large.

As founding General Overseer of the Pentecostal Churches of Christ, Bishop Ellis brought years of consecration and dedication to those things we call “Churchmanship.” In addition, he serves as President and Chair of the Joint College of African-American Pentecostal Bishops’ and was elevated to the dignity of Archbishop-Metropolitan with spiritual and administrative oversight to bishops and overseers within the Joint College. His emphasis is on effective Holiness preaching and devout personal lifestyles among his ministers and the flock.

He is married to the lovely Sabrina Joyce Ellis and is the proud father of Jessica and Jasmine, Jesse III, David and Lillian, one adopted daughter, Victoria Winfield, and grandfather to twenty one.
